Built with traditional Indonesian suar wood, the Kona Stool has a tapered shape and smooth, dark finish that is as beautiful as it is durable. This iconic stool can also become a side table, or even a night stand. We love the organic look and feel of this item and so will you!
Suar wood always varies in tone, colour and pattern. Wood is a living material that expands and contracts, causing cracks and knots. We take steps during transport and in our warehouse to dry and coat suar wooden items, but it may still hold moisture deep within that can seep out over time.
Treating the product with a protective oil yearly is recommended, this will also revive the colour.
